POSTER ABSTRACTS:
The poster abstract submission system is now open. Please read information on our Poster Information web page here to learn about selection criteria and submission information. Keep an eye on our website for updates as we develop more plans for this years' virtual symposium.
CSUPERB defines biotechnology as a fusion of biology and technology. CSUPERB welcomes and solicits abstracts from CSU faculty-led groups in all disciplines related to the current practice of biotechnology, including but not limited to life sciences, physical sciences, clinical sciences, math, computer science, agricultural science, engineering, and/or business.
In addition to biotechnology research results, CSUPERB has a strong interest in sharing best practices in curriculum and program development, lessons learned from assessment and student outcomes data, and innovative ideas related to biotechnology education.
SYMPOSIUM AWARDS:
CSUPERB is pleased to invite nominations for the five different CSU Biotechnology Symposium Award programs: Nagel, Eden, Pauling, Andreoli and Faculty Research. Individual award selection criteria, eligibility requirements, and submission policies can be found at www.calstate.edu/csuperb. Award recipients will be announced and honored during the symposium.
Nominations for Eden and Nagel student awards are made as part of the poster abstract submission process. The Andreoli Faculty Service, Faculty Research and Pauling Student Teaching awards nominations are submitted separately.
Please take the time to nominate outstanding biotechnology faculty and students who deserve system-wide recognition and appreciation.
If you have any questions about the poster sessions at the Symposium or award nomination processes, please contact CSUPERB (csuperb@sdsu.edu).
