Join us for the first Fall 17 Faculty Teaching and Learning Luncheon!
Hear from a panel of faculty regarding their experiences using and authoring open textbooks and resources. With Spring 2018 textbook adoptions due soon, this is an opportune time to learn about the many Affordable Learning Solutions and Open Educational Resources available for use in your classes. As Provost Enyedi recently wrote, "HSU Faculty can make a positive difference for students [by] researching and selecting, where available and appropriate, low-cost or no-cost instructional materials." Not only can you adopt free and low-cost materials for your courses, you might also want to consider authoring these materials as well.
The Faculty Teaching and Learning Luncheons are run by Faculty for Faculty and are intended to provide an affirmative space for faculty to discuss, share, and apply learning and teaching ideas, concepts, and practices in support of student success. We invite and encourage you to attend this event, enjoy the food and collegial collaboration.
This event is co-sponsored by the College of Extended Education & Global Engagement and the HSU Library as part of the CSU Quality Assurance and Affordable Learning Solutions Grants.
