By this time, you have likely seen the announcements to campus regarding the new “Strategies for Avoiding Unconscious Bias in the Hiring Process” workshop that will soon be required for all hiring authorities and search committee members who are involved with staff/administrator searches.

This 2-hour workshop will be required for all hiring authorities and search committee members as of November 1, 2013, and, beginning in January 2014, searches will be delayed until all hiring authorities and search committee members complete the training.
