Spring 2021 Sign-up Process

Happy New Year from the HR Team!
The Office of Human Resources has simplified the electronic sign-up process for all new hires, including faculty and academic student employees. The following are the steps for the new process:
Staff, Student Assistants (non-Unit 11), and Unit 4 Sign-ups:
The department is responsible for completing the New Hire Form, Temporary Telecommuting Agreement, and/or the Supervisor Checklist, whichever applies.
Academic Employees (Lecturers, TA, and GA):
The department is responsible for building the contract in PeopleSoft, Temporary Telecommuting Agreement (Unit 11 employees only, does not apply to faculty), and/or the Supervisor Checklist, whichever applies.
ISA:
 
The department is responsible for completing the Form 600, Temporary Telecommuting Agreement, and/or the Supervisor Checklist, whichever applies.
Tenure-Track Faculty:
 
There is no action required for the departments, as these are recruited positions and HR will send appropriate paperwork.
Human Resources is responsible for sending appropriate Sign-up Packets via Adobe Sign, Electronic I-9 form (if applicable), Confidentiality Agreement, and Direct Deposit form. 
HR will send an email to the department when all sign-up forms have been completed and the employee is cleared to work. NOTE: The new employee is not cleared to work until the department receives the email from HR.
