OLLI at HSU Winter Class Preview at the Open House

January 9, 2020

Don’t miss the OLLI at HSU Winter Open House on Saturday, January 11, from 1-3 p.m. on the HSU Campus in the Great Hall in the College Creek Complex.

The OLLI Open House is a place to make connections with people who share the love of learning. Come and explore a showcase of the classes offered this winter session which begins January 22. Designed for lifelong learners 50 and better, OLLI classes provide community members with an opportunity for academic engagement, civic involvement, personal growth, and fun.

The OLLI membership year runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. OLLI members receive academic pricing at the HSU bookstore, an HSU student ID card with library and computer privileges, discounts at select Center Arts events and much more! Classes are open to all learners over 18. Non-members pay an additional charge and are enrolled as space allows.

The OLLI Winter Open House provides the opportunity to register for classes, meet OLLI faculty, learn more about the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, join or renew membership and much more. This winter the Open House is made possible by the generous support of Friends of OLLI.

Learning should never end. For more information call OLLI: 826-5880 or visit us online at www.humboldt.edu/olli

Please Bring Peanut Butter for the Oh SNAP student food program.

New this year OLLI at HSU will be collecting food donations to help support the Humboldt State University Oh SNAP! Student Food Programs.   Peanut Butter is one of the most needed items at the food cupboard.  If you are able to share with students, please bring a jar of peanut butter to the OLLI Open House.

The mission of the Oh SNAP! Program is to increase access to nutritious and culturally appropriate food for Humboldt State University students by engaging in campus and community partnerships and by raising awareness of food insecurity.
