HSU Professional Development Newsletter - July 2018

This month inside HSU Professional Development Newsletter:

  • L4HSU - More than 300 staff, faculty, students, and community members attended our first three weeks of L4HSU events! As one of the participants said “Events like the Learning Lock-In enable folks from across the campus to come together and build community.” This is extremely important because it fosters an environment in which the entire campus can work towards supporting our students.

This month inside HSU Professional Development Newsletter:

  • L4HSU - Staff, faculty, students, administrators, and community members are invited to join the Library Lifelong Learning Lounge (L4HSU) professional development programs. This year we have over 60 programs in which you can be involved.
  • Data Communication and Visualization - The final step in the data science pipeline is to communicate the results or findings.

Kick Off Summer Learning in the Library with L4HSU - Everyone’s Invited!

Join the campus community for the launch of summer programming at the L4HSU Lock-in on Thursday, June 7th in the Library Fishbowl from 9:45am-3pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the L4HSU workshops, with a focus on developing your skills and knowledge related to communication. Meet and connect with people in the campus community.  Enjoy snacks and a light lunch sponsored by HSU Dining Services, HSU Housing & Residence Life, and the HSU Library.
