CalFresh Outreach Day

Oh SNAP Student Food Programs is hosting HSU's participation in CalFresh Outreach Day! If you have never heard of CalFresh it is a nutrition program that can help households buy healthy foods. In California, CalFresh used to be known as the Food Stamp Program. Nationally, the program is called SNAP. It is funded by the federal government. CalFresh benefits are issued on an EBT card that works like a debit card and can be used at most grocery stores and many farmers markets to purchase food.

Teaching and Learning Tip #45: Starting with Inspiration

What are you doing as an educator that no one else knows about?

We believe it's a fundamental responsibility of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to help share your work as an educator. The CTL would like to highlight your inspiring "story" in 2019. We are excited to launch our "Inspiring Stories" series that you will find through Teaching and Learning Tips and other CTL resources/events. Let us know what you are doing and we will help share your work.
