MAP-Works Adoption is Proceeding According to Plan

The MAP-Works Early Alert System Fall Check Up surveys closed on schedule last month, and the system is now in daily use across the campus by the relevant groups. The assessment plan is currently being updated with the results of all Fall 2013 activities, and a report is being compiled for delivery to the Provost in January. In the coming weeks, preparation for the Spring semester will begin: setting the schedule for surveys, Academic Updates, and making any necessary changes to data uploaded from PeopleSoft to MAP-Works.

Fee waiver process goes electronic

The Fee Waiver process is now live in Nolij, and feedback to date has been good. The project took longer than expected, but the extra testing was valuable in ensuring that everything was working smoothly.

By implementing the process in Nolij, staff time and resources have been freed up to work on other projects, and fee waiver requesters benefit from a more efficient, timely, and responsive service. Current status information is always available, so students no longer risk financial hardship or missed courses due to slow waiver processing.

Welcome to myHumboldt!

Welcome to myHumboldt! I know you’ve been logging into it for over a year, but now we have new features for faculty and staff. Many have been working hard on the development of these features, so please spend some time this week exploring the site and personalizing it for your use – I think you’ll like what you see! This pagelet provides a means for us to communicate to all staff within the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Over the next few weeks we will experiment with it to see what works best for all of us.
