Update on Academic Programs

The following is a letter from Vice Provost Oling-Sisay to HSU faculty about some important impacts of the power shutdown on the academic programs.

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

HSU SPF Services Survey

The Sponsored Programs Foundation’s primary mission is to provide the Humboldt State University community with professional and accessible Pre- and Post-Award grant and contract services. We are always looking for new ways to help you be successful in furthering your research goals.

We invite you to participate in a quick survey to let us know how we’re doing and share your feedback on any areas we can improve upon.

Laurel Drive at B Street Closure Effective 10/23-10/24/19

Beginning Wednesday October 23 at 4:00 pm, through Thursday October 24, 2019 at 5:00 pm, the seismic retrofit contractor will be paving the new parking stalls in front of Gist Hall on Laurel Drive.

Due to the nature of this work activity, Laurel Drive will need to be closed to vehicular traffic so that the paving operations can be completed safely.  Pedestrian flow on the northside of Laurel Drive as well as the new sidewalk in front of Gist Hall will all remain open through this period.

HSU's Office of Research Fall 2019 Newsletter

The Office of Research publishes two newsletters during the academic year; a fall and spring edition. These newsletters are used to highlight new awards, share what improvements our office is currently working on, update our researchers on any important changes that may affect their projects, and keep the campus community up to date with relevant grant news.

Let's try this again... Join us for our 8th Annual PI Research Celebration!

The HSU Sponsored Programs Foundation has rescheduled our annual party to celebrate our Principal Investigators (PI's), their staff, and student researchers.

The original celebration was postponed temporarily due to last week’s power outage.
