Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) Grants for Agricultural Research 20/21

 

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) Grants for Agricultural Research 2020/2021 competition.

Agricultural Research Institute funds are available to all tenured, tenure-track faculty, or research associates engaging in agricultural research. Preliminary indications are that approximately $250,000 will be available for allocation in fall 2020; this amount is subject to change depending on the budget. Proposals can request up to $150,000 max.

As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Dr. David Pellow will present “Toward a Critical Environmental Justice -- Exploring State Violence in a Settler Colonial Context Energy.” The presentation will take place Thursday, October 3, at 5:30 p.m. in Founders Hall 118.

David N. Pellow is the Dehlsen Chair and Professor of Environmental Studies and the Director of the Global Environmental Justice Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
