In light of the current COVID-19 situation, the 7th Annual ideaFest Symposium will now be hosted online in a variety of digital platforms. Students, staff, and faculty can still participate in the spirit of ideaFest by disseminating & sharing their research & creative activities in the following ways: 


HR Training Workshops to Be Rescheduled

In light of the current HSU directive to minimize in-person gatherings, the HR Training team is rescheduling or cancelling all workshops through April 17, as listed below.  To ensure you have access to the training you need, we are providing some alternatives to many of these courses.  

Green & Gold Fridays launches March 13!

A new campus tradition is coming to Humboldt State. Starting Friday, March 13, HSU will be launching Green & Gold Fridays. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to wear green and gold or HSU apparel on Fridays as a way to boost school spirit.

As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, the editors of Latinx Environmentalisms -- Sarah D. Wald, David J. Vázquez, Priscilla Solis Ybarra, and Sarah Jaquette Ray – will have a roundtable discussion on “Why Latinx Environmentalisms? When Latinx Studies and Environmental Studies Meet.”

Learning Site Agreement (LSA) Status List – 3/2/20

Attached is the Learning Site Agreement Status List, current to to 3/2/20, which lists agencies that are approved learning sites (and those in process for approval or renewal) for students from Service Learning and Academic Internship courses. This list is for faculty use (it is not designed to be distributed to students, due to vetting needed by faculty). Students can now check the HS4U (S4) database for currently approved Learning Sites.
