Encourge Your Students! Student Survey on Sexual Violence

The Sexual Assault Prevention Committee will be launching a campus survey on students’ experiences with sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment, as well as barriers to and levels of reporting and knowledge of support services for survivors.


Please see the attached document for what to say to your students, who will receive an email on Sept 24.

CSU Humanities & Social Sciences Deans Leadership Mentoring Program

The CSU Humanities & Social Sciences Deans are launching a leadership mentoring program. Consider nominating a faculty member(s) from your department (you are also encouraged to self-nominate). The Dean's group (our own Scott Paynton was instrumental in this) has proposed a Leadership Mentoring program to develop future academic leaders for the CSU.

HSU Constitution Day--September 17

The Politics and History departments need YOU for the 3nd annual Constitution Day Quiz Bowl, commemorating the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787. Join a team or participate from the audience as teams of HSU students and faculty, joined by local elementary and high school faculty and students, face off in a battle of Constitution knowledge Tuesday, September 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the Native Forum (BSS 162). There will be prizes for audience and team participation, and Quiz Bowl Champion. Refreshments will be served. Mark your calendar!
