  • Creating and Sustaining an Environment Free of Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation - Title IX requires HSU to take necessary steps to prevent sexual assault on campuses and to respond promptly and effectively when harassment, discrimination and/or retaliation is reported.

Thursday, March 1 - Grand Opening of Special Collections

The HSU Library invites the campus and community to attend the Grand Opening of the new space for Special Collections. Please join us this Thursday, March 1 from 3pm-5pm, on the third floor of the Library. This renovation would not be possible without the help of many Library donors and supporters. Thank you! Guest speakers, interactive presentations, guided tours, and other activities will mark the launch of this new space. Refreshments and food will be served. All are welcome.

Qualifying Moving Expense Reimbursement is No Longer Tax-Free

As of January 1st, 2018 any Moving and Relocation Expenses incurred after December 31, 2017 will be reported as taxable income to the State Controller’s Office.

Per Tax Reform Legislation (H.R. 1, P.L. 115-97), Qualified Moving Expense Reimbursement is defined in Section 132(g) as any amount received by an individual from an employer for expenses that would be deductible as moving expenses under Section 217 if paid by the individual.
