Need Videos digitized for your course?

Faculty: we know that videos are important in your instruction and are pleased to again offer the opportunity to have DVD’s digitized for your classes.

Media Production will "open up" and accept videos that need to be digitized for faculty use, for two days a week through the end of May.  Faculty are invited to come to campus and drop off their videos in a box, outside the back entrance of Technology Equipment Checkout, at the corner of “B” St. and Laurel Drive.  OR send via mail until the end of May, to the address below.

The purpose of virtual office hours is to provide live, virtual support (via Zoom).  Office hours are ongoing from 9a-4pm Monday - Friday. If we cannot address your question within a 30-minute timeframe, then we are happy to set up a one-on-one consultation with a CTL staff member.

Process: Office hours are hosted in Zoom. Once you enter, you will be placed in a waiting room and a monitor will connect you with a CTL staff member.

CSU Student Research Competition: Video Presentations Now Live!

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the CSU Student Research Competition is being held virtually this year! This annual statewide competition includes outstanding student researchers from all 23 CSU campuses who compete for awards in discipline-based categories.

Twelve HSU students were previously chosen as the 2020 Outstanding Student Researchers, following competitive review of their written summaries.

These participants have now submitted videos of their PowerPoint presentations, which will be judged tomorrow online. Below are the links to the videos of their research:

HSU's Office of Research Spring 2020 Newsletter

The Office of Research publishes two newsletters during the academic year; a fall and spring edition. These newsletters are used to highlight new awards, share what improvements our office is currently working on, update our researchers on any important changes that may affect their projects, and keep the campus community up to date with relevant grant news.
