Deadline Extended: Incentives Program for Faculty Research Grant Development

Due to the power outage, the deadline for submissions has been extended to Tuesday, January 21, 2020 by 5:00pm


The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is still requesting applications for assigned time funding for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. In addition to assigned time we are also extending funding for summer salary/overload pay during the summer 2020 session.

HSU's Office of Research Winter 2020 Bulletin

The Office of Research publishes two newsletters during the academic year; a fall and spring edition. These newsletters are used to highlight new awards, share what improvements our office is currently working on, update our researchers on any important changes that may affect their projects, and keep the campus community up to date with relevant grant news.

The Office of Research, HSU Library, and Marketing & Communications would like to invite you to participate in the 7th Annual HSU ideaFest! More than 400 Students, Faculty, & Staff from HSU will showcase research, performances, creative projects, and more!

Third time's a charm... Join us for our 8th Annual PI Research Celebration!

The HSU Sponsored Programs Foundation has rescheduled our annual party to celebrate our Principal Investigators (PI's), their staff, and student researchers.

The original celebration was postponed temporarily due to the October power outages.

McCrone Graduate Student Fellowship Award

Humboldt State University established the Alistair and Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Fund in October 2001.  The fund was created to honor Dr. and Mrs. McCrone, who together shepherded Humboldt State University and its students for over a quarter of a century. This award will recognize one outstanding graduate student, acknowledge their potential, and encourage their continued achievement in their graduate program.

McCrone Promising Faculty Scholars Award

The Sponsored Programs Foundation is pleased to request nominations for the McCrone Promising Faculty Scholars Award for HSU faculty members. This award will recognize HSU’s newer faculty, acknowledge their potential in their field of research, and encourage their continued achievement.


Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) F.A.Q. Session for 2020/21 Proposals

The HSU Sponsored Programs Foundation will be hosting an “ARI F.A.Q. Session" on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 12:00-1:30pm in the EOC (1st floor of the SBS Building). This will be an informational meeting where interested faculty can come and discuss their ARI Proposal ideas. HSU SPF Staff and ARI Review Committee Members will be available to answer questions. Light Refreshments will be served. We hope you can join us!
