Incentives Program for Faculty Research Grant Development

The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is requesting applications for assigned time funding for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. In addition to assigned time we are also extending funding for summer salary/overload pay during the summer 2020 session.

Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) Grants for Agricultural Research 20/21

 

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) Grants for Agricultural Research 2020/2021 competition.

Agricultural Research Institute funds are available to all tenured, tenure-track faculty, or research associates engaging in agricultural research. Preliminary indications are that approximately $250,000 will be available for allocation in fall 2020; this amount is subject to change depending on the budget. Proposals can request up to $150,000 max.

2020 CSU Student Research Competition

The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce the 2020 CSU Student Research Competition. Students must submit a written summary of their research or creative presentations to the Office of Research by Friday, January 31, 2020.

The Office of Research publishes two newsletters during the academic year; a fall and spring edition. These newsletters are used to highlight new awards, share what improvements our office is currently working on, update our researchers on any important changes that may affect their projects, and keep the campus community up to date with relevant grant news.

Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Moving to New Eureka Space

HSU’s Northern California Small Business Development Center (Norcal SBDC) will be moving its headquarters to a newly redesigned space on Third Street in Eureka.

The 2,600-square-foot space, located in the former Third Street Gallery location in Eureka’s historic Greyhound Hotel,” gives the center a larger and more efficient office to help its continued growth. The SBDC currently operates from the HSU campus, and maintains a service center at 520 E Street in Eureka.
