Master Your Work-Life Impact in 2017”, Thursday, Dec.1st from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. PT

  1. Understand why and how stress impacts your productivity, leadership and relationships at work and home.
  2. Create a customized Life Map to identify your personal and professional stress cues and stress cures.
  3. Identify what you need to do to put your best self forward to maximize leadership, relationships, and happiness.

The Office of Research, HSU Library, and Marketing & Communications would like to invite you to participate in the 4th Annual HSU ideaFest!

Fall Staff Council Luncheon!

Fall Staff Luncheon @ the Great Hall, November 17th, noon-1pm.

You may bring a dish to share, but it is not required. Feel free to bring your own lunch, too, if potlucks aren't your thing. 

Staff Council would like to hear from you! How can we support you? Help us establish ideas for how the university can help staff feel more appreciated. 

Donate to our HSU food pantry canned food drive! A donation bin will be at the luncheon. If you miss the event you can donate directly to the Recreation and Wellness Center room 122 during regular pantry hours.

Staff Council invites you to participate in the 3rd Annual CRAFT FAIR on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 3:30—5:30 pm in Karshner Lounge!

Our Craft Fair coincides with the Holiday Mixer, sponsored by the President’s office. This event is well attended so it’s an excellent opportunity for our talented HSU employees to sell their hand-crafted items.

Full tables may be reserved for $20 or you may reserve half a table for $15 fee per crafter.

Avoiding Unconscious Bias in the Hiring Process Training Required - Oct 24, 2016

Staff and Faculty members are required to take the "Avoiding Unconscious Bias in the Hiring Process" training every two years before participating in a hiring search committee.  

If your training status in not current, you have the opportunity to take the workshop on the following dates:

  • October 24, 2016 from 9-11 AM
  • November 29, 2016 from 10 AM - 12 PM
